On average 1 in 4 people in England experience mental health issues each year and added to this Covid-19 has created a mental health crisis. During 2020, people experienced a range of emotions including anxiety, fear, depression, worry, frustration, loneliness and feeling isolated.
Many of us are concerned about what the future holds for ourselves, our friends and family. We have been forced to rethink and restructure how we live our lives, how we interact with others and how we work. For some people, the worry and anxiety can leave them struggling to cope with their well being, relationships and performance.
As more people have resorted to working remotely, now more than ever before, monitoring and supporting the well being of their teams presents line managers with a new set of challenges.
This course is designed for Line Managers who haven’t had any previous Mental Health Awareness training and who would like to know how to provide support to their teams.
